We have ambitious growth plans and are therefore looking to hire recruiters for all our core areas – Financial & Risk Advisory, Audit & Technical Accounting, Technology and Tax.
A key focus of the role will be to develop client relationships within existing key accounts and therefore exceptional account management skills are required. You will also develop new client relationships and manage the full recruitment life-cycle for interesting and niche searches.
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
- Commercially minded and relationship driven with a minimum of 12 months recruitment experience.
- Bright; evidenced through a strong academic background.
- Credible and confident communication skills, with a preference for talking over typing
- Very strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent tasks.
- Be able to demonstrate passion for their work, and a tenacious attitude.
- An honest and ethical approach
The roles that our clients need our help with are difficult to fill. The ability of our recruiters to approach and attract the talent and nurture it through often lengthy hiring processes is also critical. We know these deals take time to conclude. That’s why we assess individual results on a quarterly basis against an annual target.
Incentive & Reward
We have a generous commission scheme that it is simple and rewards our top performers handsomely. Commission is earned on all revenue generated over the quarterly threshold of £15k.
There is an annual target based on deal volumes rather than deal value; and a monthly incentive for arranging a set number of interviews.
We also set a quarterly team target with a special incentive for everyone to enjoy together.
A key part of our culture is to encourage our consultants to manage their desks as they see fit. We ask consultants to detail their business plans, expected outcomes and any support required at the beginning of each quarter and conduct weekly catch-ups. Just so we’re clear, that means it is an environment with minimal KPI’s and a lot of personal responsibility. We have gone out of our way to hire mature-minded adults with a professional mind-set. Our side of the bargain is to treat them that way.
We encourage meeting with clients in order to develop new relationships and to further strengthen existing ones. In recent years this has involved travel to London, Dublin, Paris, Geneva, Zurich and Amsterdam.

We also take part in 2 CSR days a year as a team. We are proud to support the Edinburgh Food Project.
Finally, it should be noted we are not a high-pressure, ring-the-ship’s bell sales environment. If that is what you’re looking for, this is probably not the place for you. Like our clients, we have fun in the context of a mature environment. Our clients have fee-earners and carry revenue targets but you won’t find them banging gongs when they make a sale. Our approach is the same.
